Mehdy Salimi Mehdy Salimi, BAAID, ARIDO, NCIDQ Founder of Blueprint, Senior Designer, and Project Manager Drawing and the arts have been with me ever since I remember. When I was a 16, I ran a business selling what I enjoyed doing, oil paintings. My friends used to sell my paintings in various markets and events. I think…they were on my payroll. All along I searched for a solution where I could marry my three strengths: the arts, technical capabilities and business sense. I found that solution in interior design, and graduated from Ryerson University in 1992. After working for various firms honing my skills and seeing how things were done both efficiently and inefficiently, I felt that I was in a position to provide a better service to my clients. In 1998 I founded Blueprint Interior Design. It has continued to thrive and grow. I am proud of the work our studio has produced. It gives me great satisfaction to assist our clients from the early stages through fruition. The best part of my job is that look of pleasant surprise on my client's face.
